MetroDF is a sans-serif typeface that was developed by the Government of Mexico City to be used as the official font of the Mexico City Metro system. The name "MetroDF" is derived from the abbreviation for Mexico City, DF (Distrito Federal). Designed by Mexican typographer Luis Alfonso García, the font features a simple, clean and modern design with rounded corners and straight lines that make it easy to read in the crowded and noisy environments of the metro stations.
