Akka is a sans-serif typeface designed by Gumpita Rahayu in 2019. It was inspired by the geometric forms of early modernism, particularly the work of Paul Renner and Rudolf Koch. Akka features clean, simple lines and a strong, consistent weight throughout the typeface. It is well-suited for a variety of design applications, including editorial design, branding, advertising, and web design. Akka is available in six weights, from thin to black, with matching italics for each weight. It also includes a range of OpenType features, such as small caps, ligatures, and tabular figures, to offer users a versatile and functional typeface.
